Researching the undermined carob in Crete, where Greek hospitality knows no bounds, an avid tea drinker and a slave to all cats, I am re-discovering my love of archaeology, history and heritage through food. I write about food, the culture that surrounds it and the heritage it brings with it. Originally from Bangladesh, I was born in Benghazi, Libya and spent a part of my childhood in my mother's country, Pakistan. This lead to a very multicultural dinner table and my love of flavours!
