I write. I'm a lyrical, imagistic, magically real poet first. I also write myths, folklore, and other forms of prose. I'm working with a friend on a translation of Persian poetry. I love learning about Persian culture through its poets and language. For money, I write for scientists, and I also tutor folks in reading/writing, especially students with learning difficulties.
I spend time cheering and coaching my three adult birth sons and one heart-son from the sideline. One finished college and flew the coop. Two are still at home; one in college and another taking a year and will start college in the fall. They are all brilliant, funny, wonderful, and exasperating all rolled into one.
I love to spend time wandering in nature. I also enjoy documentaries: history, science, arts, etc. I also listen to podcasts and loud music while I improve my home and create. I am currently obsessed with my new scroll saw.
I created my own Sci-Fi TRPG and people have even played it; I'm in the process of prepping it for consumer use. I play video games, but I am not obsessed; I like to play a story out.
