About

Just off the Daylesford/Franklinford road, you'll see a road cut that leads to a church (as always respect people's private property).  Before you get too far, you'll see this marker, part of the world of Kcymaerxthaere.  (On the other hand, it has no connection to the abandoned tennis court around the corner.)

The marker is part of Kcymaerxthaere an art project created by Eames Demetrios. A series of plaques and other markers around the world honor events that have taken place in a parallel universe that, according to Demetrios, "co-exists to some degree with ours.” Most of these installations are bronze or stone plaques inscribed with stories but some are larger, even entire buildings. As of 2021, there are more than 140 sites spread across six continents and 30 countries.

In the runup to the Battle of Some Times (one of the epic confrontations of Kcymaerxthaere), there were many ominous threads. One was Kmpass' practice of kidnapping people and creatures from around the world as part of his successful plan to provoke a final conflict where the complexity of the worlds was destroyed.  This gwome was no exception, with 3 famous victims. For those familiar with the subtle nuances of the cultures here, there was an extra level of poignance given the special meaning of the word Kmpass in the Jihn Wranglikan tongue for their was a beautiful Jihn Wranglikan tdgurtdg (place of worship in their tongue) in the precinct.

Know Before You Go

It is right near the old center of Franklinford, which is not that far from Daylesford. There is even an old tennis court up the hill going through some delightful entropy. To stay at the location, contact http://www.churchaccommodation.com the place itself
