Dunn’s Bridge was constructed by Indiana farmer J.D. Dunn using scrap from the world’s first Ferris wheel, positioned over the Kankakee River and connects Jasper and Porter Counties.
It was purchased and restored by the Porter County Parks Department and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Dunn’s Bridge is always visible and now located just west of the road. On the north side, there is a pull-off spot for parking and a boat launch.
