In the small town of Kornhult, where the Smedjeån river widens, you'll find Ljusen i Smedjeån (The Candles in Smedjeån river): an installation featuring three large candles rising from the water's depths. While information about this intriguing sculpture is scarce online, it captivates locals and visitors alike with its weird presence.

The Smedjeån is 55 kilometers long and flows into the Lagan outside Mellby.
