Hummingbirds belong to the family Trochilidae, the second-largest in the world. While they can be found throughout the Americas, the highest concentration of hummingbirds can be found in South and Central America, especially the Peruvian Andes. There are 124 known hummingbird species in Peru, 14 of which are endemic (found only in Peru).
JardĂn de Picaflores Inkamazonia is a beautiful place where you can observe more than 30 species of hummingbirds.
