About

This building stands between 19th-century tenement houses, halfway up the main street of Gliwice. It looks phenomenal and surprising at the same time. Not all connoisseurs of architecture know that this is actually an early work by Erich Mendelsohn. The building was built before the great Bauhaus exhibition and was one of the first Modernist buildings in Europe.
