Geek Partnership Society

Back in 1998 this nerdcentric group formed with the intention of bringing year-round programming to local "geeks."

Much more than just a Dungeons and Dragons guild, however, GPS has done everything from creating educational initiatives that bring science into classrooms, holding an annual Geek Prom, and helping program the biggest sci-fi convention in the state: CONvergence. A few years ago, GPS found their physical home at the Waterbury Building in Northeast, a 3000 sq ft space that hosts events year-round.
